The excursion
Founded in the sixth century on the traditional site of the Burning Bush, Saint Catherine's holds one of the richest manuscript libraries in the world and an exceptional collection of Byzantine icons. This is the daytime visit, without the night climb of the mountain. Modest dress is required of everyone.
